We’re hearing a common refrain from Food Banks across our listening area: the need for their services has gone up, right alongside food prices.
Executive Director of the Smiths Falls Community Food Bank, Natalia Soteroff says they’re no different.
Soteroff says demand has spiked for her organization’s services this past year.
That’s an increase of 67% year-over-year.
You can offer your support this weekend as the RCL Build a Mountain of Food stops in the town from 9 until 4 at Andress’ Your Independent Grocer, The Garden Market, Giant Tiger and Food Basics.
