The Thousand Islands Bridge (Google Maps)
Border crossing close to us haven’t seen any extra long waits after yesterday’s explosion in Niagara Falls on the States side of the border.
The crossings in Alexandria, Prescott and Cornwall didn’t experienced any major delays outside of the Thousand Islands Bridge, which had higher than normal traffic, likely because of the American Thanksgiving weekend.
Yesterday’s accident saw a car travelling at a high rate of speed hit a median launching it into the air before it hit a border crossing station on the US side of Niagara Falls at the Rainbow Bridge Crossing. A married couple was killed in the collision. The FBI has ruled out terrorism as a motive but details remain few.
