Halfway through the EOJHL season, the Carleton Place Jr. Canadians are exceeding their own expectations.
First year Head Coach Cole Burton has no complaints.
He thinks a big reason for the success is the goaltending they’ve gotten from Ty Ferguson and Charlie Larocque.
Larocque boasts an 8-2-1 record with a 0.933 sv% a 2.18 GAA with one shutout, while Ferguson has a record of 6-3-2 with a 0.932 sv% and 2.24 GAA with two shutouts.
The Canadians are currently riding an eight game winning streak, which has put them two points behind first place in the Richardson Division with a record of 14-5-3.
Earlier this week, Lake 88 also highlighted the Perth Blue Wings and Smiths Falls Jr. Bears as part of our mid-season check in.
