Perth residents packed the gallery to overflowing at this week’s Council Committee of the Whole, awaiting details of neighbouring property developments.
The two largest projects on the table for zoning amendment requests involved 32 and 104 units, and brought the most comments by the public.
Those who commented said they were concerned with traffic and loss of privacy among other issues.
Mayor Judy Brown commented on the only way to fully control property development.
The zoning change requests were all passed and now go to council for ratification.
