Of the thirteen Grand Prize winners announced in the first ever Split the Pot Lottery supporting Ontario hospitals, one of those, “Shirley O”, from Perth takes home $12,424.30, as one of the ten winners who split twenty percent of the final pot.
The Split the Pot Lottery debuted in October, and the Jackpot reached an incredible $1,242,430 in ticket sales, with a $621,215 Grand Prize being split among 13 lucky winners:
Amanda T of of Baden took home $372,729 (60% of the final payout)
Two winners split 20% of the final payout. One from Sarnia and another from Niagara Falls each took home $62,121.50
In addition to our Ottawa Valley winner, the other nine who split the remaining twenty percent hailed from Orangeville, Cambridge, Guelph, Vaughan, Durham, Caledon, Waterloo, Niagara Falls and South River.

The Split the Pot Lottery is a collaboration between 22 Hospital Foundations, including Arnprior Regional Health Foundation, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation, Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation, and the Perth and Smith Falls District Hospital Foundation.
