STUFF TO DO
Today: The Community Christmas Dinner in Smiths Falls takes place this afternoon at 5pm. It’s hosted by the Falls Food Hub at Hanley Hall on McGill Street, just behind St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. All are welcome to the dinner that is sponsored by the Lock Master Taphouse, the Town of Smiths Falls, Andress’ Independent, Canopy Growth and St. Francis de Sales.
Any time: The Health Unit wants you to be safe when preparing food this year. They’ve got a great resource to check out and make sure you and your guests won’t leave your holiday meal with any unexpected gifts! Check it out here.
Tomorrow morning: The Lake 88 Christmas Kitchen Party is back! Join Dave White and Stan Munroe as they welcome some incredible local talent to bring you Christmas music and great stories from past-Christmases in Lanark County. It gets underway at 6am!
Also any time: Look for the kettles! There’s still time to donate to the Salvation Army’s annual Kettle campaign. Drop in some cash, or even tap your debit or credit card to help brighten a local family’s Christmas. You’re so awesome for doing so!
