We’re still felling the effects of the weekend storm. One way that we are is dealing with all the ice left behind.
That has Dr. Linna Li, our medical officer of health offering tips to avoid slips and falls.
The doctor also suggests that if you are a frequent walker during the colder months to get a pair of grippers for your boots to help grab that terrain when you head out.
The Doctor says to avoid slips and falls, make sure your pathways are clear, and use salt when neccessary.
And of course, dress warmly. The cold can do some serious damage to your skin and overall health very quickly.
