To say this year’s Perth Polar Bear Plunge was a success this year, would be an understatement.
The Rural FASD, this year’s beneficiary says just over $30 thousand dollars was raised by a dedicated group of plungers.
And he says they came from all over eastern Ontario and as far away as Australia to take part.
The money will be put to good use too. More says it will help fund some of their most important needs like program for the youth they serve, and a liaison, a staff member.
More says he is incredibly grateful to the more than 500 individual donors who helped raise that record total of just over $30,000. That was the goal they wanted to hit to honour the 30th anniversary oft the Perth Polar Bear Plunge.
