The Ontario government is investing $60,000 in Tay Valley Township by way of an Inclusive Community Grant for its accessible age-friendly sports & recreation activities programs.
Tay Valley Township will see 50 new accessible age-friendly sports and recreation activities/programs for 300 local senior residents with this funding from the province.
Currently the township offers no sports and recreation programming for seniors and those with limited mobility other than a seniors’ choir.
