Building activity in Rideau Lakes continues to grow.
A new report shows 342 homes and cottages received building permits from 2019-23, a big increase by comparison of 2014-18, which saw 179 permits issued.
The most recent census data supports these statistics, showing a rise in the number of residents within the Township. The population increased by 557 people, reporting a total of 10,883 in 2021, compared to 10,326 in 2016.
