Residents asked to be on the lookout for large animal in Perthmore

Residents of Perthmore are being made aware of a sizable creature that may be traversing the vicinity.

According to accounts, a resident caught sight of what appeared to be a “wolf” or “coyote” within a neighbor’s yard on February 7th. A photograph was captured by one neighbor, although it’s hard to tell what it is.

Of concern is the potential threat posed to local pets by this animal’s presence.

Efforts have been made to involve the Ministry of Natural Resources in addressing the situation.
