The Rideau Valley Conservation Authority released its 2023 conditions report summarizing the general health and wellness of the vast watershed in a single document.
Communications Specialist Emma Jackson says the report affirmed a trend RVCA staff have noticed in recent years.
Jackson says development has led to deforestation which has had an impact on the storm water management, drout control, water quality protection and of course, habitats for the species which call the watershed home.
