The community comes together almost every month at Farrell Hall in Perth for the latest Dream Rock Entertainment show, and this weekend will be no different.
The Ultimate Tribute to Billy Joel, Piano Man, begins at 8 on Saturday. Promoter Scott Semple tells myFM Joel’s music is timeless, and Jeff Brewer performs it perfectly.
They’ve brought in acts paying tribute to Abba, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Elton John and more. Semple says for many of us seeing the real deal is not an option.
In the coming months you’ll be able to see tributes to Foreigner and Neil Diamond right here in Perth too.
As for the sense of community, Semple says Farrell Hall is a favourite local gathering point.
