The Upper Canada District School Board presented a capital projects update and wishlist at their latest meeting.
Executive Superintendent of Business Services Jeremy Hobbs says the province’s inclination to approve funding for ready to go projects creates a bit of a headache of how school boards are supposed to get there on their own.
Hobbs presented 10 future capital projects they hope to one day accomplish, including replacing PDCI by 2028, building two new schools in Carleton Place by the same year, and putting on an addition to Beckwith Public School for 2026.
