We have more now on Perth Town Hall’s recent call for proposals aimed at establishing affordable housing units at 63 Halton Street.
The Town is making available the property, which holds a value of up to $200K, for a mere dollar to the successful proposal, provided that the applicants commit to maintaining affordable housing on the premises for a minimum of 30 years, adhering to Lanark County’s affordability criteria.
All proposals must be submitted by 11 a.m. on March 20th.
Local organization Community Housing Initiative Perth, which initially approached the Council last year regarding the development of the site, has announced its intention to submit a proposal. Further details can be accessed on the Town’s website at Perth.ca.
