The Township of Drummond/North Elmsley is recruiting one resident to be a Community Appointee to the OPP Detachment Board.
The term would begin April 1st of this year and run until November 15th 2026.
The position is a chance for a resident to weigh in on objectives and priorities for the detachment, with the aim of bettering the quality of life and ensure the safety and security of residents.
Who is eligible? Each applicant must be a resident of Drummond/North Elmsley, at least 18 years of age or older and not an employee of the Township of Drummond/North Elmsley.
In considering Community Appointments, preference may be given to persons demonstrating knowledge or experience in one (1) or more of the following areas:
a. Finance
b. Social Services
c. Education
d. Governance
e. Legal
f. Health Care
g. Mental Health
