Foodcore Leeds Grenville Lanark is hosting the Good Food in Schools Forum on April 11th in Kemptville.
Among those helping to make it happen is Ramsey Hart with the Table CFC in Perth.
Hart says schools are the perfect place to teach good nutrition habits that can last a lifetime.
School gardens to present a bit of a challenge though, because many are ready for harvest after the school year ends. Hart says they’re always working on ways to get around that type of challenge.
Hart says that education that can payoff at home and make it easier to get kids to try new things.
Experts weill be on hand too, to provide insightful remarks and help educate attendees.
Hart says they’re grateful to be able to do this again for the first time since the pandemic.
