Environment Canada says the snow will continue falling today (Thursday, April 4, 2024).
We could see another 2 to 5 cm on top of what we already have on the ground.
The forecasting agency says the majority of the snow accumulations will be confined to grassy or elevated surfaces.
But, surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate as the snow falls. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
And when clearing the snow, take frequent breaks and watch your health closely.
The good news is it won’t stick around. Temperatures are expected to rise starting tomorrow and be in the mid-teens by Sunday.
