SF’s new Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer happy to be part of the town

Paul Dowber is the new Director of Corporate Services and Treasurer for the Town of Smiths Falls.

Dowber grew up in Peterborough and is coming back to the region following his last position with the Town of Greater Napanee.

He said Smiths Falls made a lot of sense for his personal and professional life, and has found in his first month there’s a strong sense of direction the town’s headed.

Dowber says in the municipal world, Smiths Falls is widely considered a great Town to work for and that’s been his experience to date.

A fan of the arts, Dowber said the local theatres and galleries in the area attracted him to the role.
