Manager of Economic Development and Tourism Julia Crowder had an update for Smiths Falls council on the development of the new town website.
Crowder says the site plan and layout is in the process of finalization, then the construction of the site is to follow with adding the content to come after, which will take about three months.
However they’re hoping to move quickly to get it online sooner.
The town has had its fair share of issues with the existing one, including a recent hack which saw it go offline for most of the summer as staff worked to restore it.
